NORTH-EASTERN HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN, Hackney-road, Bethnal-green, E. (Telephone 305 Dalston). For the sick children of the poor under 12 years of age. Established 1867.-125 beds. During the past year 1685 in-patients and 27,733 out-patients (representing 75,637 attendances and including 8967 accident and emergency cases) were relieved, 535 of the in-patients being under two years of age.

The surgeons attend on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2 P.M. and Fridays at 9.30 A.M.; the physicians daily at 2 P.M., except Saturday, 9.30 A.M. Applications for permission to attend the practice of the hospital should be addressed to the secretary.
